Chakki Atta
The Vedic Days brings pure Cold Pressed Chakki Atta
Earlier, flour was grounded with hand mills or panchakki, also known by the name of 'gharaat'. The process was accomplished with slow speed and on natural stones. This retained the nutritional value of the flour, for it was accomplished without generating heat. These days, however, for larger production and profits, flour is grounded through high speed mills, which raises the temperature to the point of harming the core value of the food. Moreover, the stones used nowadays are more chemically oriented, and the consequences are expected. Therefore cold press flour is best for our health.
